The new Océ CS4136 ,Océ CS4142 and Océ CS4154 wide format scanners are the answer to users' demands for colour scanning without all the usual complexity. Up to now that often meant copies that were never quite right, loss of information content and clarity in scans, and users who were never confident that they were getting the best possible results. Now these new colour scanners from Océ solve all those problems. Built-in image-enhancement functions, together with preset optimal scan and copy modes and the one-touch Océ 'green button', give results that are always right first time.
As well as that, these new scanners have easy-to-implement colour management to ensure that colours stay consistent over large numbers of jobs with no need for any manual adjustment. The new Océ CS4100 wide format scanners offer high speed and high resolution. It takes approximately 3 seconds to scan a monochrome A1 or D- size original, and between 8 and 40 seconds in full 48-bit colour depending on the configuration. Scan resolutions of up to 9600 dpi are possible.

It combines maximum control of the scanning and copying process with productive, flexible scan-to-file operation. As well as basic copying functions such a setting the number of copies and scaling, the Océ Colour Copy software also includes more advanced functions such as nesting, tiling and set copying. Scan-to-file functions include flexible cleaning, editing, renaming and storage. A wide range of file formats are supported, with the ability to convert the formats of already scanned documents for standardised archiving. The flexible copy-to-many concept of Océ Colour Copy allows a productive copy solution to be set up with one Océ CS4100 scanner driving multiple printers. The closed-loop calibration with each individual printer ensures consistently high copy quality.
