Increasing their market presence by acquiring leading businesses is one of the cornerstones of the Océ growth strategy in the “display graphics” sector.
 
The market for the production of digital large format color posters, banners and displays is growing strongly. Océ wants to take a leading position in this market.
 
mpa Direct AG has built up a very strong market position over the past years. Océ has made it their goal to further strengthen this position with the takeover, both with their own products as well as with OEM products.
 
The mpa Direct AG operations mentioned above will be continued at Océ (Schweiz) AG as its own business group “Display Graphics Systems” within the business segment of wide format printing.
