Océ PRISMAsatellite for Office is based on JDF technology and therefore fully complies with this open, vendor-independent, industry-standard job definition format. The benefits of JDF include the facilitation of greater automation, more efficiency and cost effective operations.

The Océ PRISMAsatellite driver can be installed and used on the following platforms:

•  Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003 and XP
•  Microsoft Windows NT, Me and 98 (with driver 2.0.1)
•  Microsoft Windows Terminal Server
•  Microsoft Windows Citrix (desktop mode)
•  Apple MacOS X (version 10.2, 10.3 and 10.4 on PowerPC)

Océ PRISMAsatellite for Office must be installed and used on Microsoft Windows Server 2003.

The Océ PRISMAsatellite for Office server requires the following specifications:

• Intel Pentium 4 at 3.0 GHz
• Minimum 2 GB memory
• Minimum 120 GB hard disk (UDMA or U3 SCSI at 10,000 rpm)
• CD player
• TCP/IP network connection
• Minimum recommended screen resolution 1024 x 768
• Per Océ PRISMAsatellite for Office server:
  • Maximum number of printers: 200
  • Maximum number of users: 1,000

With Microsoft Cluster Support, two individual Océ PRISMAsatellite for Office servers are linked together. In case one server stops functioning, the workload is automatically shifted to the other server.
